Description
This 4 hour re-certification class meets federal and state requirements for individuals who will prepare, update or modify AHERA management plans. Topics will include a summary of recent industry changes as well as a review of regulatory requirements, material identification, health effects, personal protective equipment, building systems, inspection procedures, reports and legal considerations.
All attendees must pass a 50-question multiple choice exam.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of annual re-accreditation as an Asbestos Management Planner.
This course complies with Title II of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and is approved under the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Model Accreditation Program, Chapter 33-15-13 of the North Dakota Air Pollution Control Rules and by the State of Minnesota under Minnesota Rules 4620.3700. While our EPA certification is federally recognized, all states have their own requirements, so participants are encouraged to verify whether these courses meet all the necessary criteria.
Asbestos Building Inspector certification is required for individuals attending this course.
