This comprehensive 8-hour training course equips students with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively inspect, test, and assess properties suspected of methamphetamine and fentanyl contamination and production.

Participants will learn how to screen properties for contamination, follow step-by-step procedures for sampling methamphetamines and fentanyl, and understand the critical requirements for documentation and decontamination protocols (excluding actual decontamination techniques).

The course covers performing thorough site assessments, creating detailed work plans, and conducting both confirmation and completion sampling in compliance with state and local standards. Additionally, students will gain insight into the appropriate methods and supplies for sampling, laboratory analysis processes, interpreting laboratory results, and preparing comprehensive final reports.

This course is designed to provide a well-rounded understanding of the entire inspection and assessment workflow to ensure safe and effective management of contaminated sites.

None. 

Anyone can attend this class.  However, Before visiting any site where drug use or production is suspected, prospective students should first complete either a Clandestine Drug Lab Worker Training or a 40-hour HAZWOPER class. These courses provide essential safety knowledge and certification to protect against hazardous exposures and ensure compliance with regulations, making them a critical prerequisite for anyone conducting site assessments or inspections in potentially contaminated environments.
