Description
This OSHA Class II Asbestos Operations. This class covers the removal of one type of non-friable ACM. This class meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(9)(iv) for Class II operations.
Course topics include asbestos identification, health effects, respiratory protection & PPE, medical surveillance, regulated areas, work practices, clean-up and disposal requirements specific to the removal of non-friable asbestos-containing ACM Pipeline Coating.
This eight-hour class includes hands-on activities.
This class does not meet State or Federal requirements for personnel who will be removing friable and/or regulated asbestos-containing materials (RACM) or will be performing Class I asbestos operations. This is a material-specific class. Attendees will be required to attend additional training if their work involves materials other than those addressed in this class.
