Description
This 1-day refresher course has been granted full approval by the EPA and various States including Minnesota and North Dakota to meet AHERA and ASHARA accreditation requirements for workers performing asbestos work in K-12 schools, as well as in public and commercial buildings.
During this course, we will refresh your knowledge on asbestos abatement projects, from start to finish. Topics will include asbestos background information, health effects, personal protective equipment, safe work practices and asbestos removal techniques. This course also gives you the opportunity to interact with your peers and course instructors.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of re-accreditation as an Asbestos Worker.
This course complies with Title II of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and is approved under the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Model Accreditation Program, Chapter 33-15-13 of the North Dakota Air Pollution Control Rules and by the State of Minnesota under Minnesota Rules 4620.3700. While our EPA certification is federally recognized, all states have their own requirements, so participants are encouraged to verify whether these courses meet all the necessary criteria.
