Description
This OSHA Class II Asbestos Operations. This class covers the removal of ACM Pipeline Coating. This class meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(9)(iv) for Class II operations.
Course topics include asbestos identification, health effects, respiratory protection & PPE, medical surveillance, regulated areas, work practices, clean-up and disposal requirements specific to the removal of non-friable asbestos-containing ACM Pipeline Coating.
This eight-hour class includes hands-on activities.
This class does not meet State or Federal requirements for personnel who will be removing friable and/or regulated asbestos-containing materials (RACM) or will be performing Class I asbestos operations. This is a material specific class. Attendees will be required to attend additional training if their work will involve materials other than ACM Pipeline Coating.
