Description
OSHA Class II Asbestos Operations Refresher Training. This class covers the removal of ACM Pipeline Coating and meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(9)(iv) for Class II operations.
The course also meets the requirements of EPA-AHERA and the revised OSHA rules regarding periodic refresher training for individuals who have completed a 16 hour O&M Training course
Course topics include asbestos identification, health effects, respiratory protection & PPE, medical surveillance, regulated areas, work practices, clean-up and disposal requirements specific to the removal of non-friable asbestos-containing ACM Pipeline Coating.
This class does not meet State or Federal requirements for personnel who will be removing friable and/or regulated asbestos-containing materials (RACM) or will be performing Class I asbestos operations.
