ETI’s Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training programs provide intensive classroom instruction and realistic hands-on training to provide participants with the skills they need to safely conduct hazardous waste clean-up and response actions. These classes fulfill OSHA requirements under 29 CFR 1910.120. Attendees will participate in moderately strenuous hands-on field exercises, some involving the wear of respirators and other personal protective equipment.
HAZWOPER training is required for anyone engaged in hazardous substance removal or other activities which may expose themselves to hazardous substances and health hazards on a regulated hazardous waste site. Training is available for all roles on a Hazardous Waste job site – view our course listing below and find the right training for you!
All hazardous materials courses (initial & refreshers), are eligible to receive ABIH certification maintenance points.
