School Asbestos Training Series

Is your school asbestos safe?

The safe removal and management of asbestos-containing building materials is vital to preventing dangerous exposure.  With the construction season upon us, it’s even more important to insure that the asbestos materials in our buildings are being properly handled and maintained.

EPA and OSHA both have numerous requirements for individuals working in buildings were asbestos is present.  Proper training helps ensure that no building occupants are accidentally exposed to asbestos.

Based on numerous requests, ETI has recently added a number of asbestos awareness and Operations & Maintenance classes to our schedule.

Grand Forks:
July 29, 2019— Asbestos Awareness Training (2 Hour)
July 29, 2019—Asbestos Operations & Maintenance Refresher (2 Hour)
July 29, 2019 – Asbestos Designated Person Training (8 Hour)
July 29-30, 2019 – Asbestos Operations & Maintenance (16 Hour)

Bismarck:
July 31, 2019 – Asbestos Awareness Training (2 Hour)
July 31, 2019 — Asbestos Operations & Maintenance Refresher (2 Hour)
July 31, 2019 – Asbestos Designated Person Training (8 Hour)
July 31-Aug 1, 2019 – Asbestos Operations & Maintenance (16 Hour)

Fargo:
August 8, 2019 – Asbestos Awareness Training (2 Hour)
August 8, 2019—Asbestos Operations & Maintenance Refresher (2 Hour)
August 8, 2019 – Asbestos Designated Person Training (8 Hour)
August 8-9, 2019 – Asbestos Operations & Maintenance (16 Hour)

The target audience for these classes includes:

  • School Administrators
  • Facility Managers
  • Building & Grounds Directors
  • AHERA Designated Persons
  • Maintenance Managers
  • Building Owners
  • Architects
  • Maintenance & Custodial staff

These classes meet both AHERA requirements for schools and OSHA requirements for employees in any building where asbestos is present.

More information regarding these classes can be on our flyer:
